Paid news: EC detects 854 cases
Andhra Pradesh tops the list for paid news menace with 208 cases, followed by Maharashtra with 118 cases. The Election Commission has detected 854 cases of ‘paid news' during the 45-day period since the general elections were announced on 5th March.
